This began after automatic OS update to previous version of Windows. Updated Windows to fix the problem. Also deleted and reinstalled Office — 4 times. No change in problem. I can manually enter a new contact; log out of otlook and login again. Newly entered contacts are not there.
I have tried the suggested fixes in the support group pages — even those for as far back as windows 7. I also have had problems with printing. Whenever OS updates were installed, I could not print. It seems that the printer port kept getting changed from. I could go to port configuration and change and save and was good until next OS update.
Now that I have new version of OS, I can not configure port. Message indicates that port configuration is no longer permitted. The troubleshooter app does not work either.
